Student Union Art Gallery
The Student Union Art Gallery is located on the third floor of the Student Union in room 310. The Art Gallery is coordinated by the Student Union Board of Governors and the Student Activities Programs Office.
Interested in Hosting a Show?
The Gallery is a 30 x 30 room with approximately 80 of running wall space. Each show runs approximately 3 weeks.
Sponsor: The Art Show Sponsor is responsible for all costs of acquiring the show. The sponsor is responsible for hanging the show and taking down the show at the agreed upon schedule. Supplies and equipment needed to hang the show will be provided by the Student Union. The sponsor will also design a poster and programs for the show and help promote it on campus.
SUBOG: SUBOG will work with the sponsor to hold an opening for the show and promote the show. SUBOG will pay for refreshments and entertainment for the opening ($300-$500 per show). SUBOG will also pay for printing the program and poster for the show ($200-$300 per show).
Security/Insurance: Although there is staff present in the Student Union, the Art Gallery is not monitored by security. The Student Union or SUBOG cannot assume any liability for theft or damage to art work. If insurance is required, the sponsor of the show is responsible for the purchase of insurance.
